I started counselling after reassessing my working life and defining what was important to me after my dad died, top of the list was working with and supporting people.

In my experience we all have very similar worries and concerns.  What is fascinating are our different creative strategies and defences we have to cope with and manage these worries, concerns and difficult situations.

I offer a calm, safe, confidential and supportive space where time is given to understand and explore your difficulties, allowing your thoughts, feelings and choices to become clearer.

All behaviour, thoughts and emotions, whether helpful or not so helpful, is information and if we a tune, will give us insight into how we are feeling and experience situations. Therefore a lot of my work centres around working with the body. As well as helping you find new ways of doing things.

Working with you, the client, to find the most helpful way of supporting you, using my training in Integrative Counselling, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy or EMDR.

I believe in the individual’s capacity to gain awareness and with awareness comes the potential for growth and the ability to do things differently.
